Design idea taken from an ancient traditional textile art from which involves hand drawing on block printed fabrics using a special pen to outline the design. Sections are often hand-painted giving the fabric a rustic or damaged look. Traditionally, natural vegetable dyes were used. Fabric is a soft twill weave with a slightly raised surface. 19.5 micron wool.
This Raffal scarf is woven from yarns selected and spun from specified fibres of between 18.5 and 21 micron wools. Such fine micron wools give superior softness and handle to the fabrics which are luxuriously smooth and light.
